Kaldi’s Coffee

Project Summary

At the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic Kaldi’s Coffee called upon TR,i Architects to develop a new prototype design for a freestanding Drive-Thru with pick-up lobby building to avoid closure during any future pandemics. The first location chosen for this new concept was located on Clarkson Road in Ellisville, Missouri. The sophisticated black and white facade creates a classic design that compliments Kaldi’s other sit down and kiosk locations. The building design incorporates EIFS, faux cherry wood siding, Dekton panels, black metal trim, and antiqued brass lighting creating an elegant new building design which coupled with Kaldi’s passionate team and high-quality coffee and baked goods provides their customers with the experience Kaldi’s strives for and the added convenience of a drive-thru. There is already a second location under construction in St. Charles, Missouri on Zumbehl Road which plans to open later this year.
